Talking about Android and work in progress

It's been so long since the last post ... the time runs too fast! sometimes is worrying. Sometimes, i have a feeling that i'm not be slow in my work, but that time will escape from under the buttocks with an abnormal  speed.

In this post i want to talk about an App for Android, called "Sandy chew". The game was programmed by Oscar Celestini (author of Broken Core, the game that you can get through this link) https://sellfy.com/oscarcelestini.
The idea and character design of "Sandy chew" are mine, but all the credit obviously goes to Oscar.
This Android app is dedicated to my dog passed away in the summer 2013. The main characters, then, i'ts me and her.

As for the other work, I give you some updates:

-Spidery 2099 is in inking step (done ink 3), are almost halfway through the job.

-The only page with Gwen and symionte is full already for quite some time

-The three pages about "Farm alien" I have yet to start them,  i'm already in storyboards step.

Am focusing all my energies on Spider-man 2099 in recent weeks, because it is the longest and most hard work of all, and i would not finish it too late.
Also yahoo mail not work for four days and answer to email has become difficult, hate yahoo mail!

è passato tanto dall'ultimo post...come corre il tempo! a volte c'è da preoccuparsi. Ho la sensazione che non sia io lenta nel mio lavoro, ma che il tempo mi sfugga da sotto le chiappe con una velocità anormale.

In questo post voglio parlarvi una App per Android, chiamata "Sandy chew".

L'idea e il chacarter design di "Sandy chew" sono miei, ma tutto il merito ovviamente va a Oscar.
Questa applicazione per Android, è dedicata al mio cane venuto a mancare nell'estate 2013. I protagonisti, quindi, siamo io e lei.

Per quanto riguarda gli altri lavori, vi do alcuni aggiornamenti:

-Spidery 2099 è in fase inchiostrazione, sono quasi a metà del lavoro.

-L'unica pagina con Gwen e il symionte è completa già da un pò di tempo

-Le 3 pagine su "Farm alien" devo ancora iniziarle, sono rimasta agli storyboards.

Sto concentrando tutte le mie forze su Spider-man 2099 in queste settimane, perchè è il lavoro più lungo e faticoso di tutti, e non vorrei finirlo troppo tardi.
Inoltre yahoo mail non funziona da quattro giorni e rispondere ai messaggi è diventato difficile, odio yahoo mail!!

A presto spero, seguitemi anche se scrivo di rado!!! sono sempre al lavoro!

A little bit of everything

I have little time for writing, but i would like to let you know that i'm not gone, and update you on what i'm doing in recent weeks.

All this during the Christmas holidays until today:

As you know, i was at work with "Ancient masscastration" colors, and i inform you with pleasure that the comic is complete !!!. I just have to correct the lettering and you can see it (after the customer's permission). It was an work very, very hard but also very funny.
Also gave me the opportunity to experiment with color. I had long since tired of my technique and i wanted to change it, even if only slightly. I tried to give a little more atmosphere to the backgrounds, and to add a new tone the characters skin. I didn't like seeing only two color tones (base and shade) and i decided to add the tone light, which has increased tridimensional effect to the characters. To do this i observed one of my favorite artists page (about Spidey, as you can see), Terry Dodson.
In these pages every tone is perfectly clear without gradients. I wanted to add an effect using the eraser in transparency, which creates this effect a little "thick" that is certainly designed better, but i like it.
The work is liked so much and both (me and the client) we had fun and and i have learned so many new things, and this is important!

                          

As for "Spider-man 2099 porn parody" i've done the cover (if  i can i'll show you a few minutes of the making of!) and finished storyboards. In a few days, finally, i will start the pencils !!

Three pages "farm alien", talks about an alien race that "breeds" the humans and uses them as breeding animals. I worked with this cool guy and want to show you very soon what i made for him by now long ago. Here characters study

Ho poco tempo a  disposizione per per scrivere, ma voglio farvi sapere che non sono sparita e aggiornarvi su cosa sto facendo in queste settimane.

Tutto questo durante le vacanze di Natale fino a oggi:

Come sapete ero a lavoro con "Ancient masscastration" e vi comunico con piacere che il fumetto è completo!!!. Devo soltanto correggere il lettering e potrete vederlo (dopo il permesso del committente). E' stato un lavoro molto, molto faticoso ma anche divertentissimo.
Inoltre mi ha dato l'opportunità di sperimentare con la colorazione. Ero da tempo stufa della mia tecnica e ho voluto modificarla, anche se di poco. Ho cercato di dare ai fondali un pò più di atmosfera, e di aggiungere un tono in più sulla pelle dei personaggi. Non mi piaceva vedere solo due toni (base e ombra) e ho deciso di aggiungere il tono luce, che da una maggiore tridimensionalità ai personaggi. Per fare questo ho  osservato una tavola (di Spidey, come puoi vedere!) di uno dei miei artisti preferiti, Terry Dodson.
In queste pagine ogni tono è perfettamente netto senza gradienti. Io ho voluto aggiungere un'effetto utilizzando la gomma da cancellare in trasparenza, che crea questo effetto un pò "a strati" che va sicuramente studiato meglio, ma mi piace.
Il lavoro è piaciuto tanto ed entrambi (io e committente) ci siamo divertiti e e io ho imparato tante cose nuove, e questo è l'importante!

Per quanto riguarda "Spider-man 2099 porn parody" ho realizzato la cover (se posso vi mostrerò qualche minuto del making of!)e finito gli storyboards. Tra qualche giorno, finalmente, inizierò le matite!!

Altri due nuovi lavori in corso!

Tre pagine "farm alien", ossia una razza aliena che "alleva" gli essei umani e li utilizza come animali da riproduzione. Ho già lavorato con questa persona e desidero mostrarvi molto presto cosa ho realizzato per lui ormai tempo fa.

Una singola pagina con Gwen Stacy alle prese con il Simbionte!!! Molto carina!!!
